The Purpose of the Malawi Mission is to bring the people of different cultures together to strengthen understanding and mutual support through our common belief in Our Lord Jesus Christ. We will encourage and support people of different Christian denominations from the United States to travel to Malawi for an organized participation tour of the work that the Church and the people of Malawi are doing to provide ministry, education, food and medical care to the people of this country. Malawi Mission will engage in outreach to the people of the United States to encourage learning about the needs of the people of Malawi and to engage in fundraising activities to support the ministries of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Malawi and other missions work in that country.
